Parveen (Veena) Brar is a seasoned mental health professional and non-profit executive with over 10 years of experience, education and training in the fields of Clinical and Forensic Psychology, corrections & re-entry and non-profit management.
 

Prior to launching her business in Los Angeles, In Between the Lines, Veena counseled and treated medium security incarcerated offenders in jails and correctional facilities across the states of New York and New Jersey. She then went on to oversee county-wide multi-ethnic health and human service county programs at a community non-profit in Orange County. She has also consulted with actors and screenwriters in role, character and plot development for films and television series landing her into to her current career path as a Psychological Consultant, Mental Performance & Health Coach for organizations and high-performing creatives, entrepreneurs and athletes in the entertainment and sports industries. 
 

Veena has extensive experience in regenerative health modalities and treatments with an extensive network of physicians and holistic practitioners and is also currently producing a documentary bringing regenerative health treatments and daily best practices for health and mental health optimization into light for the world at large. Deep personal and spiritual development and growth are also core tenets of her coaching and consulting services. 
 

Veena completed her BA in Psychology, Legal Studies & Criminology at the University of Waterloo in Canada along with a Master’s in Forensic Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY). Her thesis focused on domestic homicide behavior, in collaboration with the FBI's Behavioral Science Unit. She also completed her Transformational Coaching Certification via direct mentorship and training under Joel Brown (Master Coach) of Addicted 2 Success. Veena currently lives in Southern California and is originally from Toronto, Canada.
